Recently I had our SQL DBM look over the required permissions of the user comparing it to the page in the setup manual and he even drilled down to the database level to help force the rights we want that user to have but it still didn't help the database he worked with has almost 20 databases and only 12 show up in AppInsight for SQL. Also I again tried to stumble through the permissions for the SolarWinds DB server and I got some more of the databases to show initially but after a day or so of bake time all have went away except for the three system databases. In the past with no changes to permissions removing the monitor from a server will allow it to see more databases for a day or so then it will lose some of what it had shown.
