You can, new custom menu item will let you do that. What you need to do is create a new view under managed views and using new custom menu item you can link that view you created as a tab onto your menu bar (we will need to provide the URL of the view ). And then in an account you can use the menu bar you require accordingly. TABS are nothing but different views in your environment.
